NYCC 2018: The Children Gather In First Look Photo From Umbrella Academy

 

Netflix has released a number of photos from the upcoming Umbrella Academy, which the streaming platform announced will debut in February of 2019. In the one above, the adopted children of Sir Reginald Hargreeves gather to pay their respects — or lack thereof — to the man who raised them to be superheroes.


Based on the comic book by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba, Umbrella Academy tells the tale of those children as the face their individual pains and mutual distrust to solve a mystery surrounding their father’s death. But the estranged family once again begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.
Starring Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Cameron Britton, and Mary J. Blige, Umbrella Academy debuts on Netflix on February 15th, 2019.
