Barrier Gets Limited Edition Slipcase Set In March

by James Ferguson

Barrier from Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin will never be collected into a trade paperback. That doesn’t mean you can’t have something cool to put on your shelf, though. Image Comics has announced a new limited edition slipcase for all five issues of the series. You can order it with or without the comics, so if you have them already, you don’t have to buy them again.

Vaughan says:

I am so proud of this series, especially after hearing from readers who happen to be immigrants from around the world. If you’ve already read Barrier, this classy-ass slipcase from our friends at Image Comics is the perfect way to keep our story on the shelf next to your hard copy of The Private Eye. And if you haven’t read it yet, you can pick up a slipcase that includes all five oversized issues in their original first printings. As always, you can still download Barrier (and more great comics!) at PanelSyndicate.com for any price you think is fair.

Barrier is a series that could not be more relevant right now. Sure, it’s a crazy and gorgeously illustrated sci-fi comic, but it takes a new and interesting look at immigration that can be really eye-opening.
The Barrier limited edition slipcase is set for release on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019. The final order cutoff date for comic shops is Monday, December 3rd, 2018.
