Jimmy Kimmel Makes His Marvel Universe Debut In West Coast Avengers #4

Kate Bishop (aka Hawkeye) is struggling to keep her newly-formed team together, but can she do it while the cameras are rolling? Maybe a certain talk show host can give her some tips. Marvel Comics has announced a new variant cover for West Coast Avengers #4 from artist David Nakayama featuring Jimmy Kimmel, coinciding with the team’s superhero debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

We wanted the new West Coast Avengers to be able to debut to the rest of the Marvel Universe in a big, bombastic way—and what’s a better place for a team that’s courting the LA limelight to debut than Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Or, at least, the Marvel U equivalent!) This is actually Hawkeye’s second time in the hot seat of a famous talk show—he went on Late Night with David Letterman in Avengers #239, an appearance which we’ve paid homage to with our Jimmy Kimmel variant cover!
West Coast Avengers #4 is written by Kelly Thompson and illustrated by Stefano Caselli. It’s set for release on November 21st, 2018.
