Merry Men Gets Collected This December From Oni Press

Merry Men, the re-imagining of the Robin Hood story from Oni Press is getting a trade paperback collection this December. The comic is written by Robert Rodi, illustrated by Jackie Lewis, and colored by Marissa Louise and Shari Chankhamma.

Set in 13^th century England, Merry Men follows Robert Godwinson, the former lover of King Richard as he lives out in Sherwood Forest with his band of Merry Men.  It’s here they can escape the watchful eye of Prince John, who has outlawed homosexuality. They may be isolated, but they live in peace…until a stranger arrives seeking aid. A nearby town is besieged by the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robert (nicknamed Robin) is reluctant to help, but eager to get rid of this stranger.  It wouldn’t hurt to put his bow and arrow to good use.
Merry Men is set for release on December 5^th, 2018 at your local comic shop, at bookstores, and Amazon.
