Lorna Runs From The Fallout In A Look At The Next Episode Of The Gifted

The Gifted is taking a wee pause for the holiday week. But when it returns, Lorna (Emma Dumont) will be concerned with family as Rebecca’s (Anjelica Bette Fellini) behavior at the bank leads to a new wave of anti-mutant sentiment and a world less safe for Dawn. And as seen in this preview for the next episode of The Gifted, she will find her reception back at the Mutant Underground surprisingly chilly. Also, the Inner Circle may be less than forgiving about her reaching out to Marcos (Sean Teale), potentially leading to a surprising change — and a comic book inspired look — for the often troubled Polaris.
Dumont teased the Polaris costume in a recent Instagram post, and as one of the members of the cast with a key connection to X-Men mythology, it was only a matter of time before Lorna took on a more iconic look. But will it prove to be the Inner Circle’s attempt to create a latter day Magneto, or is this her own reaction to the current crisis?
The Gifted returns in two weeks on FOX.
