War Of The Realms Is Marvel’s Next Big Event

Marvel Comics has announced its next big event with War of the Realms, a six-issue mini-series beginning in April from the creative team of Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman, and Matthew Wilson. This war across the Ten Realms finally hits the last one standing, which happens to be ours. How will heroes from Iron Man and Thor, to Daredevil and Venom, be impacted by this?
Jason Aaron says:
I have been building towards War of the Realms for the entire duration of my Thor run. So we’re talking six years and 80-something issues and counting. This is a war that covers the entire globe and involves the biggest heroes of the Marvel Universe, as you can see in this amazing promo piece by my Mighty Thor collaborators, Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson, who I’m so thrilled to be working with again on War of the Realms.
As we’re in the midst of both Infinity Wars and Spider-Geddon, both of which have sort of petered out for me already, I’m somewhat weary of more events right now. That being said, if this has been in the works for so long, I’m definitely curious as to how it will play out. I guess we’ll all find out in April.
