Marvel To Publish League Of Legends Graphic Novel

League of Legends from Riot Games will be published by Marvel in May 2019 as a graphic novel, but not before it’s available online. The plan is to release digital-only monthly graphic novels online (webcomics, surely?) beginning on December 9th. The official release on the Marvel site isn’t too clear about it, but I think it’s more like a series of webcomics that will be collected together in print. However, you can decide by reading the full release here.
It’ll be written by Odin Austin Shafer will make his comics debut alongside artist Nina Vakueva and Cardinal Rae will provide lettering.
First up will be an origin story called League of Legends: Ashe: Warmother which “will follow the journey of one of the original League of Legends champions, the Iceborn warrior Ashe, who struggles with her role as a leader for her people in the world of Runeterra and her mother’s fanatical expectations.”
A must for all fans of this popular game, I imagine.
