Marvel Entertainment and Riot Games have joined forces to create League of Legends comics and graphic novels. This December sees the first story from this partnership with League of Legends: Ashe – Warmother Special Edition #1. The comic follows the origin story of one of the first League of Legends champions.
League of Legends: Ashe – Warmother is written by Odin Austin Shafer, illustrated by Nina Vakueva, and lettered by Cardinal Rae. This special edition is packed with over 20 pages of exclusive, never-before-seen content including artist layouts, inks, colors, character concepts, and a glossary to dive deeper into the action and learn more about the tribes of the Freljord.
Look for League of Legends: Ashe – Warmother #1 digitally on December 19th. A graphic novel collection the series is scheduled for release in May 2019.
