Move Over, Bill & Ted! Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History This March

by James Ferguson

Marvel Comics teased a variety of conspiratorial questions earlier, such as who really gave the Fantastic Four their powers. The publisher has revealed what’s behind this and it’s none other than Frank Castle himself, or rather, Cosmic Ghost Rider. If you’re unfamiliar with this character, get ready to have your mind blown below.
First appearing in Thanos #13, Cosmic Ghost Rider is the Punisher, who died and was given Ghost Rider powers from Mephisto, then given the powers cosmic and served as a herald of Galactus before working as Thanos’ enforcer.

This March, writers Paul Scheer and Nick Giovannetti join forces with artist Gerardo Sandoval for Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History. The five-issue mini-series gets right to the point in its title. Cosmic Ghost Rider is stuck in the past so he’s decided to rewrite the origins of the Marvel Universe. Nothing bad can come of that, right?
Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #1 will feature a cover by Gerardo Zaffino. The fun begins on March 6th, 2019.
