If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: Kids should read more comics. What better way to do that than with Disney? They’re already watching the movies, so get them a comic book that features new adventures of some of their favorite characters. That’s definitely the case over at Dark Horse Comics, which has just announced the next installment of the Disney Frozen comic book series with Reunion Road. This is the second book in the series, preceded by Breaking Boundaries.
Writer Joe Caramagna returns to Frozen after writing the first comic, joined by layout artist Eduardo Francisco, line artist Eduard Petrovich, colorists Nastia Beloushova and Yana Chinstova, and letterer Comicraft.
Disney Frozen: Reunion Road follows Anna and Elsa as they’re invited to a harvest festival in the kingdom of Snoob. They wonder about this faraway kingdom and discover Kai has a long-lost brother there. This sets them out on an adventure to reunite the two brothers. The Arendelle sisters, Kai, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven are on a road to reunion with surprises at every twist and turn.
This is planned as a three-issue mini-series with the first chapter scheduled for release on March 6th, 2019. Disney Frozen: Breaking Boundaries is currently available for pre-order with a release date of January 29th, 2019.
