YouTuber Phenomenon Poppy To Release Her Own Graphic Novel

You know you’re no longer down with ‘da kidz’ when you have to search for a YouTuber who you’ve never heard of before, but has an original graphic novel coming out. Turns out Poppy is a singer/songwriter with a flair for the hyper-cuteness beloved in Japan, but also amongst a certain demographic across the world too. Here in the UK, we’ve had famous YouTubers publish books, but not a graphic novel.
Written by Poppy with help from Titanic Sinclair (her director) and Ryan Cady and drawn by Masa Minoura and Ian McGinty, Genesis 1 tells “the elusive origin story of Poppy”.
