Oliver Pleads His Case On Television In An Arrow Winter Preview

 
Now that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is back on the streets and working with the Star City Police Department, there’s one more group he has to convince of his good intentions: the citizens of Star City. And as this trailer for Arrow‘s season return demonstrates, Ollie will take his case on Channel 52 — with District Attorney Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) in tow — to speak directly to the people. Of course, his consultancy position at the SCPD still comes with a side-order of Green Arrow. His mission is to track down the New Green Arrow, which can only lead to drama once he finds out the identity of the person wearing the hood. But for now, Arrow is back to explosions, Oliver brooding, and Rene (Rick Gonzalez) assisting where he can.

And while the video features a glimpse of old adversary China White, it is seemingly short on flash-forward footage from the 2040s. That’s where the truly interesting story is happening and, hopefully, it will get a little bit more of a focus in the episodes to come. Meanwhile, it will be also be interesting to see what Emiko Queen (Sea Shimooka) brings to the show’s dynamic.
