Capcom Releases Launch Trailer For Resident Evil 2

With just a few days remaining before the title’s release, Capcom brings us a final trailer for the remake of Resident Evil 2. Exactly like the original game on Playstation, Resident Evil 2 is set during 1998, and follows heroes Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they try to survive the dangers in Raccoon City, now that it’s become overrun with zombies.
Rather than giving us much as far as game play, this launch trailer instead focuses on displaying key moments of the reimagined story, showing a city falling to ruin because of the effects of the Umbrella Corporation. Capcom also hints at an extra mode referring to the “4th survivor”, along with some free DLC called the Ghost Survivors, an additional mode that will introduce three other people trying to survive Raccoon City.
For players curious about the quality of the overall game, Capcom released a 1-shot demo back on January 11th, which allows players to spend thirty minutes in the game’s world, but doesn’t allow anyone a second shot once their thirty minutes are up.  For those already convinced however, Resident Evil 2 launches January 25th on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
