What Does The Voice Of Sora Have To Say About Kingdom Hearts 3 Releasing This Week?

If you’re a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, this week is a big week for you. After years and years of waiting, Kingdom Hearts 3 will finally be in our hands. You might not know this, but the voice of Sora is none other than Haley Joel Osment.
The actor has been voicing the main character of the franchise since it’s origin. Inverse caught up with Haley in an interview and asked a few questions about the game.
Here’s what he had to say:
It’s intense! It’s that culminating third act. The stakes are extremely high…We went a lot of places emotionally with the character that I think are going to be new for the series.

Some people make the mistake of thinking that Kingdom Hearts 3 picks up right after Kingdom Hearts 2. However, it actually takes place after Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. At the end of that game, we see Sora lose all of his powers. It’s safe to say that he’s going to be pretty determined to get them back at the start of the new game.
Well folks, the wait is almost over! Kingdom Hearts 3 releases this Friday, January 25th.
