Jonboy Meyers Sketchbook Now On Kickstarter

Comic fans may recognize Jonboy Meyers from his work on Spawn and Teen Titans or by just giving him a high-five at a convention. Now he’s coming out with a 7.5 x 10, 100-page sketchbook filled with concept art from the comics, video games, and animation he’s worked on.

Meyers packs a level of dynamism, detail and cartoony exaggeration in his art that is rare in contemporary comics. Readers are hungry for the extreme caricature of the 90s. It’s no surprise that the campaign was fully funded in less than a half hour. What’s even more exciting is that the extra funding will allow Meyers to work on his creator-owned project, Princess Dragon Killer.
