Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh And More Lend Their Voices To Amazon’s Invincible

Amazon’s animated adaptation of Invincible will feature a star-studded cast.
According to Deadline, the voice cast of the upcoming series will feature Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, Chris Diamantopoulos, Melise, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Griffin, Max Burkholder, Andrew Rannells and more.
Created by Kirkman and artist Corey Walker (though Ryan Ottley illustrates the comic book), the book and television show will follow the adventures of Markus Sebastian Grayson (Yuen), son of renowned hero Omni-Man (Simmons) and successful novelist Deborah Grayson. On his 17th birthday, he begins to develop powers inherited from his alien father. Omni-man begins to train Mark in a “suspenseful, action-filled, and emotion-packed” series that “builds upon poignant and heartwarming moments of love, friendship, and humanity.” The first season will consist of eight hour-long episodes.
The series will be produced by Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment, with Teen Titans‘ Simon Racioppa serving as showrunner. Kirkman, Racioppa, David Alpert, Catherine Winder are attached as executive producers.
Invincible will debut on Amazon in 2020.
