Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Shows New Game+ And More In February Update
by Sage Ashford
As we hit the middle of February, Ubisoft brings us another video that details the continued support for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, including information on the long awaited New Game+. New Game+ lets players keep all the abilities and equipment from a player’s previous save, but starts them at the very beginning…and allows them to choose between Alexios and Kassandra anew.
The video also talks about the latest free DLC chapter from the “Lost Tales of Greece”, known as “A Brother’s Seduction”. In the story, you will travel to Corinthia and aid two brothers in coping with the loss of their father. These Lost Tales have grown more and more involved with each new chapter, so this will likely be a fairly meaty new story.
Content aside, they’ve also added some nifty looking new items, like an armor set for the character and their horse that’s created from the skeleton of the Kalydonian Boar boss. Along those lines, they’ve added a unique looking set of armor (and horse armor) resembling the sharks which terrorize the waters of Greece.
In free updates, they’ve raised the level cap from 70 to 99, expanded the mercenary tiers so players will have to climb back to the top once more, and added nearly two dozen new fast travel points to make it easier to travel around the world. Lastly, they’ve got another photo mode contest starting on February 24th.
It certainly looks like a lot of new content, especially considering we’re not even halfway through the paid content which has been planned out already.
