Check Out SD Gundam Sangoku Soketsuden First Look

A new promotional video has premiered for the latest entry in Bandai and Sunrise’s SD Gundam universe, “SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden”.
Last year, while discussing their plans for the 40th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, Bandai talked about a number of new series and films they planned on launching in 2019, one of them being a follow up on their SD Gundam universe. With director Takahiro Ikezoe (Sword Gai: The Animation) on board, SD Gundam will seek to introduce a new set of main characters for this series set during a version of Japan’s Warring States period, with leads based on both classic models like the Wing Zero Custom from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz and newcomers like Gundam Unicorn from the Unicorn series of OVAs.
SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden will release this July, during the summer anime season.
