Everything Comes To A Head On Next Week’s Black Lightning Finale

Black Lightning is one week away from its season finale. And if this preview of next week’s episode is any indication, it will be a shocking conclusion. Jennifer’s (China Anne McClain) plan for revenge may be over before it begins, but Lala (William Catlett) may be able to finish the job. Meanwhile, Jefferson (Cress Williams) and Anissa (Nafessa Williams) face the remaining members of Tobias’s (Marvin “Krondon” Jones III) meta-human team.
And it seems Jeff will take another visit with his father. Will he advise killing Tobias? The man is the source of so much pain, but Jeff’s no killing rule prevents him from being removed from the board. Justice is a tough thing on superhero shows as villains often come back if not put in the ground. At the same time, vengeance is always shown to be more harmful, so it remains to be seen how Black Lightning’s internal conflict will resolve.
