Star Wars Celebration 2019: The Toy Roundup From Hasbro, Lego & Kotobukiya

Star Wars Celebration is a gathering of fans to celebrate the influential science fiction franchise and pop culture phenomenon. All things Star Wars are covered from the movies, comics, toys and more. There were so many announcements regarding toys and collectibles and here’s a rundown of all the new products coming from Hasbro, Lego and Kotobukiya.
Hasbro produces some of the most sought after action figures today and Star Wars fans caught a first glimpse of what to expect in the future. There will be a new wave of The Vintage Collection with four figures. They are Luke Skywalker (Crait), Artoo-Deetoo, Imperial Assault Tank Commander and Death Star Gunner. They will be out this summer but are up for pre-order from Hasbro Pulse.








From the Black Series, there will be an Amazon exclusive of the Emperor also coming this summer.


For those lucky enough to visit the new Galaxy’s Edge land in Disney parks there will be three exclusive Black Series multi packs. The First Order pack will contain Mountain Trooper, Kylo Ren, Mouse Droid and Commander Pyre. The Droid Depot pack will contain C3PO, R2-D2, BB-8 and DJ R3X. The Smuggler’s Run pack will contain Hondo Ohnaka, Porgs, Rey (Batuu) and Chewbacca.






SDCC isn’t until July but they revealed three convention exclusives. There will be a Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker Jedi Destiny set with three figures. Next, there will be a special edition Darth Vader Prototype Edition figure. Last there will be a 6-inch Black Series Boba Fett with a retro Kenner-inspired paint job.






Another big toy company known for their Star Wars products is Lego. They announced they will release in time for the unofficial holiday, May the Fourth, the massive Tantine IV blockade runner. This 1,768-piece set will retail for $199.99 and will come with the minifigures Bail Organa, Princess Leia, C-3PO, Captain Antilles and Rebel Fleet Trooper plus an R2-D2 droid figure.








Finally. Kotobukiya, a collectible company known for their statues and plastic kits, publicized their new ARTFX Artist Series line with two concept drawings. They will be 1/7 scale statues and will include Rey –Descendant of Light- and Kylo Ren -Cloaked in Shadow-. The concept art was developed by Kamome Shirahama.
