Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Second DLC, ‘The Fate Of Atlantis’
by Sage Ashford
After finishing up the third and last episode of the first set of DLC, Legacy of the First Blade, Ubisoft is revealing the first trailer featuring a look at the second DLC: The Fate of Atlantis. Much like with Origins, this second DLC is far more ambitious. Though Legacy of the First Blade relied on the game’s original map, The Fate of Atlantis takes the Eagle Bearer to an all-new location, and aside from giving them a shiny, brand-new armor to use, takes them on an adventure where they will meet several characters with mystical origins, and learn how the myth of our world fits into the lore of the Assassin’s Creed universe.
The trailer doesn’t exatly tell us what the Misthios will have to do this time around, but from the trailer it’s clear this takes place well after all of the stories in the main game, with the Misthios holding the staff of Hermes Trismegistus during one of their conversations with the characters in the game. There’s a lot of questions left to be answered, though at current it seems Ubisoft is remaining silent about what mysteries this second adventure will solve.
The first part of The Fate of Atlantis will arrive on April 23rd, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
