Lucifer Tops Our Picks Of Netflix’s May Releases

by Erik Amaya

It’s already time to consider May. And in regards to Netflix, that means taking a look at their offerings in the coming month. The big thing for lovers of comic book television is the return of Lucifer. Roughly a year after Fox let the Warner Bros. Television production go, its fourth season will debut on the streaming service. Tom Ellis returns as the fallen angel, who now must tussle with Eve (Inbar Lavi) and deal with the fact Chloe (Lauren German) saw his true face. It debuts on May 8th.
The fifth month of the year also brings the most recent seasons of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl to the platform. While currently unscheduled, expect them shortly after both shows wrap up their fourth season in mid-May. The current seasons of The Flash, Arrow, Riverdale and other CW shows will also debut across the month.
Also returning to the platform just in time for its 20th Anniversary is The Matrix. And, yeah, we’re still wrapping out heads around the fact it has been 20 years since that film came out. It and its sequels will be available on May 1st.
Of course, these are just a few picks of the wide range of material coming to the service in May. Check out the full list below:
