Check Out Latest PV From Historical Viking Action Series ‘Vinland Saga’

A second promotional video for the adaptation of Makoto Yukimura’s award-winning manga, Vinland Saga, has been released and subtitled in English. Produced by WIT Studio (Attack on Titan, Ancient Magus’ Bride), Vinland Saga is scheduled to air in the summer season on July 7th, and will run for two cours, totalling in 24 episodes. A global release of the first episode will occur on Amazon Prime Video a day earlier.
The series will be directed by Shuuhei Yabuta (Inuyashiki, Attack on Titan), while the screenplay will be handled by Hiroshi Seko (Ajin, Inuyashiki) and Kenta Ihara (Ajin, Youjou Senki), with Takahiko Abiru (RideBack, Blue Exorcist) doing character designs.
Vinland Saga follows the viking Thorfinn as a member of Askeladd’s mercenary vikings. While Askeladd’s group mostly only care about pillaging, Thorfinn is chasing revenge against the man who killed his father, Askeladd himself. Lacking the strength to do so in a fair duel, he works with Askeladd and their group to train and earn the fight to eventually slay the man who ruined his family.
