K/DA Cosplay Brings The Characters To Life At The Club

There’s a certain unquantifiable magic to K/DA that has endeared the virtual band to people beyond the fandom of League of Legends. What originated as a flashy advertisement to promote new character-skins for Ahri, Evelynn, Kai’sa, and Akali, morphed into a pop-culture sensation that shows no signs of slowing down.
In this latest fan-created video, cosplayers Stella Chuu, Yuriko Tiger, Mayu Ronne, and RJ. Kagura bring each character to life with the K/DA Club Remix playing in the background.
As the song says “we go hard” and ever since the video premiered last November, I’ve seen a multitude of K/DA fan art and cosplay. They’re even teaching the official K/DA choreography at my local dance studio!
I believe that we may see more virtual bands like K/DA in the future. The advantage of virtual bands is that the members never age or get involved with superficial scandals. Virtual bands might also prove to be a healthy alternative to the perfectionist pressure put upon pop stars. With K/DA, fans can focus on the music and having fun and that’s what really matters.
