Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Superhero Comic Arrives With 12 Variant Covers

Next week sees the release of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: New Party, Who Dis?, an anthology comic highlighting the new House Representative as a super hero. Publisher Devil’s Due Comics is celebrating the release with twelve separate variant covers including some exclusive to specific retailers across the country. In addition to the mini-adventures, the comic also includes activities and games like “Where’s Mitch?”

Devil’s Due Publisher Josh Blaylock says:

The excitement behind Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has proven to be so great that comic book shops across the country not only wanted to support AOC And The Freshman Force, but to design exclusive editions limited to their stores. We hope everyone from comic collectors to fans of AOC and Washington politics will get a kick out of them.

Although Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has not officially endorsed the comic, nor is she directly affiliated with it, she is aware. She told TMZ:

It’s an honor people would put so much of their time and talent into that all on their own. I’m especially honored that they’re donating proceeds to Raices Texas [a non-profit that provides legal services to immigrants and refugees] for immigration protections. So that part of the project, if it can benefit communities that need it, that’s really amazing.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: New Party, Who Dis? is set for release on May 15th, 2019.
