Batwoman will lead the 2019-2020 season on The CW.
The network released its Fall season schedule Thursday morning with the surprise placement of the series in the Fall. Batwoman will air on Sundays at 8pm with Supergirl moving to the 9pm slot. Pairing them is not a surprise, but there was an assumption the series would not debut until Arrow finished its run with an 8-episode season. Instead, the two will co-exist through the Arrowverse crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths.”
Arrow itself will move to Tuesdays following The Flash while Black Lighting moves to Monday. Sadly, Legends of Tomorrow has finally made the move to the mid-season as it will not return until 2020. That might be the most depressing element for us as we absolutely love that series. The Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene will also debut at the mid-season. The new Nancy Drew will join Riverdale on Wednesday night while Supernatural maintains its Thursday perch for its final year.
