DC Comics Releases First Look At Frank Miller & John Romita Jr.’s Superman: Year One

Accompanying a rather terse interview with Frank Miller, but also a more chatty one with John Romita Jr, about their three-issue large-format DC Black Label series, DC Comics have released a first look at some unlettered coloured pages.

It’s not much, and it certainly doesn’t give anything away – although Miller does admit to this story being tied into his own Dark Knight Returns universe as well as his own seminal Batman Year One too (so, not canon then?), but it does offer up fans a flavour of the book which comes out this June 19th, with issue #2 due in August and the final installment out in October. Frankly, I’d rather wait a few months longer and then have them released on a monthly basis. I mean, we’ve waited this long already, what’s another few months?

Anyway, here are these pages now, plus the two covers from Romita Jr. (above) and Miller (below).
