Later this month sees the release of Go Go Power Rangers: Forever Rangers #1 from Boom! Studios. This oversized special from writer Ryan Parrott and artists Eleonora Carlini and Francesco Mortarino looks like it will wrap up the current storyline in Go Go Power Rangers dealing with Alpha One and his nefarious plan.

The Power Ranges must work together to stop Alpha One before he destroys their mentor, Zordon. Unfortunately, the rogue robot has been studying their strengths and weaknesses. Even with their powers combined, the Rangers might not be able to overcome what he’s got in store for them. With all this going on, a surprise encounter between the Power Rangers and a certain martial artists will change everyone’s lives forever.

Go Go Power Rangers has been nothing but a delight since it started. This one-shot looks like it’s cleaning up the loose ends before the series rockets into the next mega event and I’m all in for it.

Go Go Power Rangers: Forever Rangers #1 features a main cover by Dan Mora and variant covers by Kris Anka, Gurihiru, and Gabriel Picolo. It’s set for release on June 19^th, 2019.
