Amblinesque: A Matt Ferguson & Florey Exhibition Showcases The Best Of Speilberg Screenprinted

by Olly MacNamee

While Mondo is the go-to name for cool looking pop culture screen prints, my favourite has to be Bottleneck Gallery over in New York. Both work with some of the best screen print artists out there today, such as Matt Ferguson and Florey, who are going to be the focus on a new exhibition from the aforementioned Bottleneck Gallery, in partnership with Ferguson’s own operation, Vice Press.

Entitled Amblinesque: A Matt Ferguson and Florey Exhibition, the exhibition launches on Friday the 14th of June from 7pm until 9m at Bottleneck Gallery (60 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA) with both artists in attendance and features their favourite Amblin Entertainment and Spielberg movie moments.

Oh, and there’s more. To celebrate the exhibition launch, on Saturday the 15th of June Bottleneck Gallery will also be hosting a 35mm screening of Goonies at the Roxy Cinema, Tribeca. Doors open at 5pm and the screening kicks off at 5:45pm. They’ll be handing out free posters after the screening, so don’t forget that on your way out.
