Lobo Presents His Credentials In A Preview Of Next Week’s Krypton
by Erik Amaya
Krypton is slyly rebooted in its second season. The costumes are brighter, the locations more varied, and Lobo (Emmett J. Scanlan) has made his debut. But as seen in this preview for next week’s episode, Seg (Cameron Cuff) and Adam (Shaun Sipos) have no idea who the Main Man is. One imagines this will not sit well with an egotist like Lobo, but it’s really not their fault. Krypton’s isolationist stance means they have no idea what’s going on out in the galaxy and Adam … well, since he’s still not the hero of Rann, it is entirely possible he’s never run into Lobo before.
Meanwhile, Val’s (Ian McElhinney ) revolution hits a critical phase. Knowing Krypton, though, that probably means a quick reversal and Zod (Colin Salmon) only strengthening his rule. Then again, who expected Daron-Vex (Elliot Cowan) to be quickly killed off in the middle of this week’s episode? Maybe the Brainiac hiding in Seg’s mind and Doomsday will be enough to topple Zod’s empire.
Krypton airs Wednesdays on Syfy.
