SDCC 2019: It’s Only Just Beginning In Watchmen Trailer

HBO has unleashed the clearest picture of Watchmen yet with this new Comic-Con trailer. Set decades after the original comic book series, police are forced to hide their faces when an armed terrorist group targets them for extermination. But the situation leads to rising tensions with some questioning why peace officers should look like vigilantes. Meanwhile, Doctor Manhattan, Night Owl, Hooded Justice and some of the other masks of the Minutemen era continue to be revered and re-examined. But one masked cop (played by Regina King) is about find herself at the heart of the twisted Watchmen world and learn why peace is an impossible ask.
Oh, and I guess Doctor Manhattan is coming back to Earth. That cannot be a good thing.
Watchmen debuts on HBO this October.
