Watch The Preview For The Second Season Of Granblue Fantasy

Granblue Fantasy: The Animation has revealed a trailer for its second season. The first season of Granblue released in 2017 and was an adaptation of the popular mobile game’s story, featuring a young man named Gran getting involved with Lyria, a young girl who granted Gran her powers after he got injured attempting to save her. Afterwards, Gran, his talking lizard friend Vyrn, Lyria, and her bodyguard Katalina, were forced to leave Gran’s home to try and escape the Erste Empire chasing after Lyria.
The director (and sound director) of the series is Yui Umemoto (Cardfight Vanguard G), while series composition is worked on by Kiyoko Yoshimura (Cardfight Vanguard G, Legend of the Legendary Heroes). Character design is handled by Fumihide Sei, best known for their work on Shugo Chara. While A-1 Pictures did the animation last time, this time it’s being handled by MAPPA.
The series will begin airing October 4th.
