Batwoman has a Mousey recurring character in its Gotham City.
Deadline reports actor Sam Littlefield will play Mouse in several episodes of the upcoming CW series. Described as a “dynamic figure” in Alice’s (Rachel Skarsten) gang, we’re going assume he is the Dormouse in her strange worldview. Or, perhaps, one of the brother mice the Dormouse talks about in the original Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Based on the character created by Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid and Keith Giffen — and further refined by Rucka, J.H. Williams and W. Haden Blackman — the series centers on Kate Kane (Ruby Rose), a woman “armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind.” Though a “highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence,” she is not quite a hero yet because “in a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.”
Batwoman debuts October 6th on The CW.
