Garth Ennis Returns To The Punisher In ‘Punisher: Soviet’ From Marvel

Revealed in almost a throwaway line in my recent interview with Garth Ennis, and announced officially on Marvel.com t’other day, The Boys co-creator will be returning to The Punisher with a new 6 issue mini-series.

First up is Punisher Soviet with artist Jacen Burrows. He tells Marvel.com that, “There’s a brilliant simplicity about Frank. He never changes — in an ever-shifting and evolving world, he remains resolutely himself.”

In Punisher Soviet, Frank Castle faces the wrath of the Russian mob when twelve of them end up dead at his feet — but he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger. Who is the one beating Frank to the bad guys?
