Titans Season 2 Trailer Hints At Improved Series; Dick Grayson As Batman

While we certainly enjoyed watching Titans find itself in the first season, there is one totally valid criticism to lay at its feet: it didn’t exactly feel like the Teen Titans we know and love. But it appears the second season will address that thanks to this full trailer for Titans upcoming return. Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) is reopening Titans Tower — although it seems the reason he shut it down in the first place is tied to Deathstroke (Esai Morales). Making things more complicated, he’s invited Deathstroke’s daughter Rose (Chelsea Zhang) to train with the new Titans. Meanwhile, Connor (Joshua Orpin) and Krypto make their way out of S.T.A.R. Labs, Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dove (Minka Kelly) debate their superhero and relationship statuses, Kori’s (Anna Diop) past continues to haunt her, and Jason Todd (Curran Walters) continues to be a little punk. All of which adds up to one thing: the Titans are back.
Oh, but how could we forget the trailer’s key moment: will Dick take up the cowl and become Batman? I mean, we all know where Dick’s story should go, but it will be interesting to see if he tries on the costume for size.
