Guinness Book of Records Makes Spawn #301 An Official Record Breaker

We all knew that Spawn #301 was going to be a record breaker, but it’s now official. Todd McFarlane will receive his certificate from the good people at The Guinness Book of Records at this weekend’s New York Comic Con, courtesy of official adjudicator Claire Elise Stephens. And, McFarlane is quick to acknowledge that these things do not come about all from the hand of one person:

Any record that is based on longevity, is made on the backs of dozens of people. As much as I am proud to be receiving this award, I gratefully accept it on behalf of all those who helped me the past 27 years on this journey.
