The Darkness Arrives In Runaways Season 3 Trailer

While things have never been easy for the kids on Marvel’s Runaways, this trailer for the third season makes it clear this will be their darkest year yet.
Picking up from last season, the aliens held in stasis aboard Jonah’s ship — and Jonah himself — have found new human hosts. Most found their ways into the Pride parents. But the darkest one of all is inhabiting one of the kids. The trailer goes out of its way to suggest Nico (Lyrica Okano) is the recipient of that alien entity, but a whole other darkness is coming for her in the form of Morgan La Fey (Elizabeth Hurley). The half-sister of the legendary Arthur has plans for Nico and she’ll use her relationship with Karolina (Virginia Gardner) to make sure her dark designs come to fruition.
Which means the Runways will be facing aliens, sorceresses, and their parents. Oh my!
But beyond that, the kids will also face their first Marvel crossover as Cloak (Aubrey Joseph) and Dagger (Olivia Holt) stop by. From the trailer, it seems Nico is responsible for bringing them to Los Angeles. And as Joseph told us in August, they’re not just making a courtesy call.
All in and all, it looks like Runaways will have its biggest season yet. We can’t wait.
Runaways returns to Hulu on December 13th.
