Dark Horse has partnered with Wonderstorm to release The Art of The Dragon Prince, a new deep dive into the world behind the new Netflix animated series. The hardcover art book, set for release next summer, was made in consultation with co-creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond and executive producer Justin Santistevan.

Justin Richmond, Wonderstorm founder and co-creator of The Dragon Prince says:

Aaron and I are excited to announce Wonderstorm’s partnership with Dark Horse. As a longtime fan, I have wanted to work with Dark Horse for years, and I can’t think of a better partner to help us bring the world of The Dragon Prince to life in new ways that our fans are going to love. I can’t wait for people to see what we are working on together!

The Art of The Dragon Prince includes never-before-seen concept sketches, preliminary designs, and first impressions from the first three seasons of the cartoon, all in nearly 200 pages of content. Everything from storyboards and environments to characters and creatures are included.

The Art of The Dragon Prince is set for release on July 7th, 2020. It will retail for $39.99 and is currently available for pre-order at your local comic shop, book store, and Amazon.
