Dark Horse Comics has announced a new line in partnership with Disney called The Story of the Movie in Comics. Readers will relive the whimsy and enchantment of their favorite Disney and Pixar films retold in a new hardcover graphic novel format starting at $10.99. The line begins with Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story: The Story of the Movies in Comics on December 4th, 2019. Here are the others on the way:

I love the idea of these, especially since it will be exposing a whole new audience to comics. I do wonder how these will be presented. Will they just be screenshots from the movie with word balloons? Or are they complete retelling?
