Folklords from Boom! Studios has gotten off to a tremendous start with a sellout of the first issue before it was even released. The publisher has shared an early preview of the second chapter due out next month from writer Matt Kindt and artist Matt Smith.
Against the orders of his village, Ansel strikes out to find the Folklords, the only beings that can explain his visions of another world. But the forest is even more dark and terrible than he was told, and Ansel meets two very different women who will change his life—one way or another—forever.
Folklords #2 features a main cover by Matt Smith and a variant by Michael Avon Oeming. It’s set for release on December 18th, 2019.
