Dark Horse Translates Cuisine Chinoise To English For The First Time

Dark Horse Comics has announced the first English translation of Zao Dao’s comic anthology Cuisine Chinoise: 5 Tales of Life and Food. Originally published in France by Editions Mosquito, the comic blends food, family, and culture. Stories include insects looking for a meal and a man with a passion for cooking hoping to maintain a family legacy, among others. Each one explores a rich and humorous world while showcasing the relationship between Chinese culture and food.

Cuisine Chinoise: 5 Tales of Life and Food is set for release at your local comic shop on June 10^th, 2020 and at bookstores and Amazon on June 23^rd, 2020. The 96 page graphic novel will retail for $19.99.
