Tekken 7 Adds Two New Characters And Shows Off Gameplay For Leroy Smith

by Sage Ashford

At the Tekken World Tour finals, Bandai-Namco unveiled a host of new information on how the game will continue to change in its third season pass.  First off, they gave us a gameplay trailer for Leroy Smith, the Wing Chun master who’s come back to the streets of New York City looking for revenge. Leroy will be released on December 10th alongside the frame data display change, which will help players looking to maximize their skills on Tekken 7.

But those aren’t the only things coming to Tekken 7 shortly. We’re also getting long-time Tekken character Ganryu. Though his style is largely the same, his look has changed quite a bit, as he’s apparently turned into a full-on YouTuber. He also seems to be a big fan of Julia, who’s turned into a streamer since her addition to the game.

Lastly, Tekken 7 gains a Muay Thai user in the form of Fahkumram, a powerful warrior who looks suspiciously like a certain infamous Street Fighter character minus an eye-patch. We don’t know much about him, save that he’s a Muay Thai champion who seems to be working to earn his family’s freedom. Unlike the other characters, Fahkumram currently doesn’t have a firm release date, and is instead expected alongside a new stage for the game in Spring 2020.
Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
