Confronting Terrible Consequences In The Magicians #3 First Look

Boom! Studios has shared an early preview of The Magicians #3, the five-issue series showing the next generation of magic practitioners and rule breakers. Series creator Lev Grossman is joined by writer Lilah Sturges and artist Pius Bak.

After the shocking conclusion of the last issue, the five students chosen to learn battle magic are forced to confront the terrible consequences of what they’ve done, and what it could mean for the future of Brakebills. As tensions mount, the traditional Brakebills students and the newly admitted hedges begin to turn on one another!

The Magicians #3 features a main cover by Qistina Khalidah and a tarot card variant cover by Alexa Sharpe. It’s set for release on January 8th, 2020.
