Hawkeye: Freefall, the new solo adventure featuring Clint Barton launched this week from Marvel Comics and the publisher is highlighting the book with a special trailer featuring Associate Editor Alanna Smith and writer Matthew Rosenberg. Check it out below.
Alanna Smith says:
We were really looking for an artist who would capture the personality of Clint and just the characters in his orbit in a really engaging way, and [Schmidt] does that really, really well.
Hawkeye: Freefall, illustrated by Otto Schmidt, picks up with the Hood returning to the streets of New York City looking to restart his criminal enterprise. Meanwhile, a new fighter has entered the scene as Clint Barton’s one-time alter ego Ronin. Is this new vigilante a friend or foe?
Rosenberg added:
It’s an action book and there’s a big mystery of who Ronin is. We’re giving you more Hawkeye content that you’ll hopefully love.
