McFarlane Toys And DC Comics Reveals First Wave Of Action Figures For 2020

Batman figure based on the DC Rebirth comic books: Batman accessories include Grapnel Launcher and Batarang

McFarlane Toys, the new maker of DC Universes action figures, have released details about their first wave of figures coming from across the DC multiverse. A clever move, as it requires just the one design for the packs and allows DC Comics to chop and change what they offer. If this first line-up is anything to go by, it looks like we’ll be getting toys not only from across the DC Comics’ multiverse but from across different types of media too, with the inclusion of several figures based on the now classic 1990s cartoons produced by Warner Bros. that include Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League as well as figures from their live-action Arrowverse shows too. It’s a good, varied line-up and sets the tone for what will follow down the line. So, something for all fans, whether you read the comics, watch the cartoons or you’re just a fan of the TV shows.
Check out each figure too, as some come as a set (Batgirl, Nightwing, and The Batman Who Laughs), of sorts, accompanied by a piece of a build-your-own 7 inch Batmobile, something akin to what Marvel have been doing for a few years now with their own action figures, but without you having to buy all of the range to get it built.
