Locke & Key Trailer Opens The Door To Magic And Family

by Erik Amaya

We’ve been covering the saga of Locke & Key for sometime now. Originally slated to debut on Hulu sometime last year, the streaming serviced passed on the pilot. But it soon found a new home at Netflix and, after a hand full of recasts and extensive production, the series will finally debut next month. And as the trailer reveals, the wait may have been worth it.

Based on the comic book by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, the series will follow the Lockes after they move into the ancestral home of the recently deceased family patriarch. There, youngest child Bode (Jackson Robert Scott) discovers certain keys which give him (and anyone using them) certain magical abilities. The series also features Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, and Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge.
Locke & Key finally comes to Netflix on February 7th.
