The Purge With Zombies: Your First Look At Dead Day #1 By Parrott, Bornyakov And AfterShock

AfterShock Comics, writer Ryan Parrott, artist Evgeniy Bornyakov, colorist Juancho Velez and letterer Charles Pritchett are bringing you a new ‘existential horror’ series this April entitled Dead Day.
Reading the plot overview below it sounds like The Purge with zombies and we have a first look at the first issue for you to sink your teeth into. In fact, The Purge show is huge influence Parrott freely acknowledges when discussing this new comic in an official statement:

… Television shows like THE PURGE and THE LEFTOVERS have done a wonderful job highlighting how entire societies can change politically or emotionally based on a single moment, and I think I liked the idea of exploring that idea in relationship to death.
