The Show-Stopping Conclusion Arrives In Archie 1955 #5 First Look

Archie Comics has sent its star back in time in Archie 1955, a historical fiction series showing the gang as they would have lived back then, dealing with events surrounding the birth of rock ‘n’ roll. The publisher has shared an early preview of the fifth and final issue, due out next month.

This is it—the show-stopping conclusion of Archie’s rise to fame at the birth of rock ‘n’ roll! Archie’s star is soaring, but not everyone—even Archie himself—can handle his newfound fame.

Archie 1955 #5 is written by Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn, illustrated by Ray-Anthony Height, Joe Eisma, and Rick Burchett, colored by Glenn Whitmore, and lettered by Jack Morelli. It features a main cover by Laura Braga and variant covers by Rick Burchett and Cary Nord. It’s set for release on February 12th, 2020 and the final order cutoff date for comic shops is Monday, January 20th, 2020.
