Kipo And The Age of Wonderbeasts Now Streaming on Netflix

Kipo is a teenage girl trying to find her family in a colorful post-apocalyptic world. To navigate the hostile surface world, Kipo will have to make allies with humans and mutants alike.
While “talking animals” are present in many cartoons, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts has a unique twist on this old idea. The surface of the earth is ruled by mutated animals; some have the ability to talk and others have extra limbs or super powers. The human characters either come from underground burrows like Kipo or are forced to survive on the surface.
The art direction is American Anime, reminiscent of shows like Teen Titans and Ben 10, but more updated. The neon colors, slick soundtrack, and snappy action make Kipo a blast to watch.
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is a bright example of what the future of animated TV could look like. With a diverse cast of characters, unique world-building, and gorgeous art, I can’t wait to watch Kipo’s next adventure.
