Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON Comes To Consoles

Bandai-Namco’s beloved Gundam Extreme VS. series comes to consoles worldwide this year with Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON. The popular series has seen multiple improvements over the years (usually resulting in progressively longer names), with the most recent version featuring 183 different mobile suits from three dozen different Gundam projects. These range from series like the original Mobile Suit Gundam to Gundam Build Fighters. Each mobile suit is said to have a variety of abilities to help suit any player’s individual playstyle, but they’ve also got other features like the different EX Burst systems, which can be used as secret weapons to turn the tide of battle.
Supporting up to one to four player co-op and PvP, players will be able to do either 1v1 or 2v2 combat.  Though usually the game stays in Japan both in the arcades and on console, this time the game will be releasing worldwide, with it’s first appearance being at the Taipei Games Show from February 6th through the 9th.
Also announced was a new Gundam Extreme VS edition going to arcades, though no additional info was announced.
